Sulzer Mixpac Shrouds and Accessories

Brandywine Materials offers a line of Sulzer Mixpac static mixer accessories, including safety shrouds, spreader tips, Luer Lock adapters, and retaining nuts. These components are designed for use with Mixpac cartridges and meter mix dispensing machines.

SH Series Shrouds for Static Mixers

SH series shrouds are used with static mixers in meter mix dispense (automated) machine applications. Under high pressure, static mixer housings can expand, allowing adhesive components to bypass the mixing elements and cause improper mix ratios. Shrouds prevent this expansion and provide a safety guard for the operator. Typical applications include epoxy, urethane, silicone, and chemical dispensing.

LA Series Luer Lock Adapters

LA series Luer Lock Adapters allow for the attachment of dispensing needles to static mixers for the application of two-component adhesives in hard-to-reach areas or where fine bead control is required. These adapters self-thread onto the stepped end of the static mixer and work with most standard dispensing needles.

UM Series Retaining Nuts

UM series retaining nuts are used to attach static mixers to two-component adhesive cartridges. They provide a secure seal during the dispensing process and are compatible with standard cartridge volumes including 50ml, 200ml, 400ml, 600ml, and 1500ml.

BSD Series Spreader Tips

BSD series spreader tips are used for wide-coverage adhesive dispensing applications. The Ribbon Spreader Tip applies a 1.5-inch bead of adhesive directly from 3/8" ID x 20 or 24-element static mixers. The ribbon tip can rotate 360 degrees to accommodate different application angles.
